OK, so the website changes are progressing with the change of email address, servers, etc. I've messed up with the email address on the sites, so I'll have to get back to that pretty soon - fix it up, etc.

Well the weekend has arrived here in Oz and I've finally got a weekend off - nearly anyway. I have a bit of work to do over the weekend but overall I'll have less to do this weekend than any since I became Maintenance Manager. I'm looking forward to the relief.

Sometime in the next month or so I'm actually hoping to get away for a weekend - not sure when however. Still, it's coming.

Well, it had to happen - I'm in the process of changing servers for my wilderness site. Why? Way too much spam rubbish from my ISP account - the curse of the net! Of course, my site goes with the ISP.

Another weekend yet another weekend of work - can't get away from it at the moment. Hopefully I'll soon be able to catch up with all that needs to be done and I can have the weekend off. It would be good to sleep in for a change and relax for the weekend. Get away and pursue my passion - wilderness. Nothing like a tent near a mountain stream - beautiful!

Yeah, this girl is a lot younger than I but she is a very important friend. Haven't seen much of her in a couple of years, but I still regard her as an important friend. She went through a fair bit and that experience allowed us to become firm friends - I think. It would have been better if she never went through it at all though and I'm sure she would agree with that. It's good she is through that period now.



So why did I put that here? Well, I haven't seen this girl in a long time and I still think of her from time to time - today being one of those times. What is she up to now? Is she OK? Just wondering?

Well, another day has gone by at work. Flat out today as usual - but at least I'm home only 2 hours later than I should be. So much to do, so little time.



What do I do? I'm the Maintenance Manager at a retirement village. We have been busy getting a central kitchen up and running with not enough time to get everything done. Still, we haven't done too bad. More of the same tomorrow - except tomorrow its a bathroom as well as a kitchen, then Wednesday a couple of suites as well. So, too much to do and not enought time, staff, etc.
